We are seeking a skilled and results-driven SEO Specialist with 3+ years of experience in an IT-based company. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, experience working with international clients, and a proven track record of improving organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion performance for websites and web applications. Candidates should have a background in IT or Computer Science (BCA, MCA, B.Tech/M.Tech, or B.Sc IT), experience with international clients and global SEO projects, and knowledge of content marketing and CRO. Willingness to relocate to Surat and a strong desire to learn new SEO and digital marketing technologies are essential.
Required skills
3+ years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist in an IT / Software Development company
Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
Experience working on IT services or technology-based websites
Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from an SEO perspective
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business and client goals
Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis for IT and SaaS domains
Optimize website content, landing pages, blogs, and product pages for search engine visibility
Manage on-page SEO including meta tags, headers, internal linking, URL structures, and schema markup
Handle technical SEO tasks such as site audits, page speed optimization, crawlability, indexing, mobile optimization, and Core Web Vitals
Plan and execute off-page SEO strategies including link building and outreach
Collaborate with developers, designers, and content teams to implement SEO best practices
Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs, etc.
Prepare SEO reports and present insights, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders and clients
Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry best practices
Participate in client meetings, including international clients, for strategy discussions and reporting.
Be open to shift-based work, depending on client requirements.
